Greg Bonacci

Well

Through experimentation and studying the photographic techniques of Philippe Halsman Greg refined his natural photographing skills and eventually discovered his own unique style.
This all began while sailing around the world during his Navy years. At this same time Greg also developed his electronic and computer skills by assisting to maintain and fire a Mk 11 Navy Missile Launcher. He also volunteered to gain experience firing Terrier (2 stage) and Talos (3 stage) launchers during disposal shoots when these missile types became obsolete and Poseidon Subs began carrying IBM's.

After military life Greg always strived for something better. First, construction which lead to property management which eventually morphed into an interstate transport business.
Greg's open bed transport business went from 1 to 6 trucks in no time through a common practice known as leasing. Combined with a dual operating authority he also brokered additional truckloads to help boost revenues and afford better equipment. Greg also collaborated to produce one of the more advanced "Online" load board systems which still thrives to this day. He sold out to their competition within a couple of years and continues to receive residuals.
During Greg's transport era he rekindled a relationship with his high school sweetheart and got married in 2002. Unfortunately, his wife, Lisa, passed away at their South Carolina home in June of 2025 to a long battle of medical issues. One of the reasons this marriage lasted over 23 years was due to Lisa's support throughout Greg's business ventures, especially in the rough times. In 2003 Greg sold out his transport business to come home and begin a part time IT designing business. Through perseverance this took off in a short period to operate on a full time basis and accumulate recognition from both the CIW and MIT communities.
In 2015 Greg was offered a partnership and head of IT Development for designing in a clean air company called AireHaven. AireHaven has given the public several air quality products and is currently marketing the AireHaven Room Purifier (see the video).

Though Greg considers himself retired his AireHaven partners have other plans. He also continues with his photography (gallery) and displays his works throughout various galleries.

He is always optimistic for the future, but in reminiscing on his past he realizes...it's been quite a ride!
